This was for sure a pretty good lunch stop for us from the highway. The server was friendly and the service took a little while but it was worth the wait. We sure had a great time here. The ambiance is really good and would love to come again here. The food portion was really great and flavour full. For sure a to go place, they also have lunch specials usually all the time until 3 pm.

Very nice place, with a huge menu. Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Lots and lots and lots of sushi options so there's a massive variety for just about everyone in your group. A good number of alcohol selections as well although I didn't see a drink menu at the table. But nice place in the shopping center across from HEB.

Nice place and friendly staff! I placed a to go order on their website, and I ordered the salad w ginger dressing and the 3 roll sushi deal. It was delish! Ginger dressing was on point and the rolls were fresh

Cosy Japanese/ Thai food. As they make mostly all main dishes vegetarian it gets 5*. Vegetarian sushi was good but could have more options. Beer cold enough to please my german mute, too

This place is amazing! The service is exceptional and friendly, and they make sure you have whatever you need. The restaurant is clean, the seats are comfortable, and there is very aesthetic, color-changing lighting. There are plenty of tables equipped with a bottle of soy sauce. But what really matters about a restaurant is the food, and Akashi absolutely nails this aspect. I ordered sushi at a restaurant for the first time here, one California roll and one Philadelphia roll. Each roll consisted of 8 pieces. I really enjoyed the Philadelphia roll. The California roll was good as well, though I personally think that I would enjoy sushi with fish. Like I said, this was my first time having sushi at a restaurant, and the sushi here is delicious. The family dinner is also tasty and gives you a choice of soup, an egg roll, a crab wonton, and a choice of entree. It’s a good way to get a lot of quality food for a lower price than most places: 16.95. I also familiarized myself with chopsticks, though my younger brother caught on faster than I did. Overall, this is a must go if you’re looking for delicious food for a good price.

We came last night, food was great, restaurant was very nicely done, (feels and looks very trendy). If they can train the hostess on at least the basics of the business, (she told me she hasn't read the menu yet), so many customers left because the waiting time was extremely long, even though several tables were empty. And if they get a couple of professional waiters, this place will be very successful, I really really hope so. Will be coming back in a later day. 5/25/2021. We came back a few days ago. Food was fantastic! The service was incredible! The improvements are very noticeable, way to go guys!
